Hey Voltaire. So are you saying NOT to buy options at this level? I am thinking of picking up either the JAN 400's or the APR 400's on the split play? Any thoughts (quickly)? -Steve

Voltaire: Timing. Are you talking about the psychology in early January after the effective date of the split on or about Thurs Dec 30, and the impact on Jan 2000 options prior to their expiration on Jan 21? Just trying to understand a bit better. Chaz

Voltaire, I don't think you need to be so vague. The 12.31 and 1.22 are known quantities. I bet the investment houses are really pissed about the 4:1. JohnG

V, just had a client call screaming, "I TALK TO YOU YESTERDAY ITS 325, I TURN AROUND IT'S 345, I COME IN THIS MORNING ITS 350 SOMETHING, WHY IS THIS STOCK GOING UP SO MUCH!!!! i tried telling him what you been telling us, theres a phsycological compressioning of the stock into a factor of unknown density and the price train is dilating the speed of the time train and he yells "what the F are you talking about." i said "i don't know just buy the damn stock!" then he says who is this guy voltaire, i said it doesn't matter, he has been right on so far. then dial tone in my ear. more happy cfm
