Robert - it actually looked like a news article - in fact the article had the Reuters name on it, suggesting that it was indeed a news article. A press release is issued by a company, whereas a news article is written by an "independent" news organization.

I asked the question on whether your post was a news article because it appeared from the tone as though someone from Goldman Sachs could have written the article.

In the world of PR, there is often a fine line between what is "news" and what is a "press release". Those companies that wield more power and influence are often successful in having their press releases reported as news.

One could argue that Goldman's stance on Amazon is news. Yet one could also argue that it is in Goldman's interest to get positive news articles on Amazon published - as Goldman presumably has a long position in Amazon. But it's interesting in that the article did not mention whether Goldman held a position in Amazon.

But all this is nothing new.

Thanks,
-Eric

Alright. Covered CMRC at 286, making 44 pts out the short.

I think it may still go lower, but the risk/award is no longer
in the right side me.
