Tuck, It certainly feels good to see the shares up 18% today. There has been speculation on the Yahoo board about the Comdex exposition next week in LostWages, NV. But I don't see Echelon touting it on their site. The only that is relatively certain, was John Morris's disclosure Wednesday at OpenSystems99 in Charlotte, NC that on 30 Nov, Echelon and some of the LonMark partners planned a launch party for the iLON Cisco-blessed router. I don't know if I mentioned it here, but in reponse to my question, he said that they expected to sell "about a gazillion." He went on to say that they expect to sell many of these in a ratio of 1:3 to another of their transceiver/router devices, but I screwed up and failed to write down exactly what that other device was, at any rate it was something that seems to summarize the signals in a control sub-system, which are grouped in a packet for transmission though the iLON. [Boy, that was pretty muddy!] Yahoo has an exciting article on Bell Labs perception of the future of communications at biz.yahoo.com It does not mention LonWorks, specifically, but this technology has the future written all over it! One is encouraged to read between the lines. I see Echelon in there. Bill
