RESEARCH ALERT - KLA-Tencor target upped NEW YORK, Nov. 12 (Reuters) - Lehman Bros. said analyst Ed White raised his price target on semiconductor equipment maker KLA-Tencor Corp. Friday to $112 from $87. -- raised fiscal 2000 earnings-per-share (EPS) forecast to $2 from $1.85. -- KLA-Tencor held meeting for analysts Thursday. -- management indicated its forecast and Wall Street estimates were too low. -- cited rapidly changing industry environment. -- customer placed unplanned order for 25 machines. -- guidance points to fiscal 2000 revenue boost of $70 million and EPS rise of about $0.14. -- shares off 3-13/16 at 89-5/16.
