Not really off topic, as the world has and is growing more and more economically interdependent (and its a good thing - won't it be nice when countries can not economically afford to declare war on each other).

Sorry to see this;

(COMTEX) B: No One Claims Pakistan Explosion
B: No One Claims Pakistan Explosion

WASHINGTON, Nov 12, 1999 (AP Online via COMTEX) -- The White House said
today it did not know who exploded seven rockets near the U.S. Embassy
and at other sites in Pakistan.

A Pakistani employed as a guard was injured and taken to hospital for
treatment.

There was no damage to the embassy, but windows were broken and walls
damaged at the American center in Rawalpindi, the State Department
reported.

''It is much too early to speculate who did it, and no one has claimed
responsibility,'' a department official told The Associated Press.

Security was enhanced and the Pakistani government provided police
protection, said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

''We are certainly troubled by the violence and condemn in the
strongest terms these attacks,'' spokesman David Leavy said. ''Our
embassy is reviewing the security situation and is in contact with
Pakistani authorities.''

He added: ''Details are still unclear and we do not now who is
responsible.''

President Clinton, who is considering a visit to Pakistan early next
year and has curtailed a stop this month in Greece over security
concerns, is expected to make a statement later in the day.

Prospects for a Clinton visit to Pakistan already were clouded by the
military takeover in the country last month. The ousted prime minister
faces trial on treason charges and a possible death sentence.

The rockets exploded today in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, near
the embassy, a U.N. building, an American cultural center and
government buildings, officials said.

At least six people were wounded, but no Americans were hurt, a U.S.
official said.

To ensure I'm reading this correctly: you think SPZ may reach 1430 and hope (ideally) it pulls back to 1350 by the 16th, and NDX may reach 3000 before a pullback.
Correct?

financials doing very well today after a multi-day consolidation. Close above 1387.49 (high from last week) on the S&P would suggest a test of the all-time high around 1420 is in the cards.
