Hey Big Bull, Been away awhile, down here in Trinidad. Happened to see the excitement vis a vis MDR while checking mail. What's the big deal with the asbestos? There are plenty of old rigs and ships out there with asbestos on board. It can be safely contained with the proper coatings and management systems. Usually there is a special safety case generated that identifies the asbestos application, and then there are special safety management guidelines that deal with the day to day business of dealing with it, using work permits, breathing apparatus and so forth. This is not a company killer, in my opinion. Looks like a turkey shoot to me. I'm calling my broker. To buy stock in Asbestos Management, Inc., ha ha. Regards to all, Aggie

BigBull, While I have not been able to find real time data on the North Atlantic Oscillation, I have compiled my own barometric data from weather stations in the appropriate areas on the North Atlantic. Can't be certain without the formula used to calculate Oscillation magnitude, but today is the first day that it has turned positive all week. Positive is bad for east coast ski and OSX fans, negative is good. The fact that it was negative all week and that it normally oscillates in a pattern of two weeks or so means that my observations mean little so far; I need to fill in the missing data for 4 weeks, it takes the online chart a month to update. However, I am establishing a mean and will keep the thread informed. So far it definitely is not looking as positive (bad) as last year. TTYL Roebear
