I think Novell can succeed by positioning itself as infrastructure for the Internet. It seems to work for Inktomi. I think Novell should find the coolest, edgiest most outrageous ad company and spend a big pile of dough for something like Apple's "Think Different" and put it on TV every day for the next year. That would turn everyone at Novell into maketing geniuses.
