Art, It is a good theory, but the only problem is it isn't true. The earnings of the tech cos. are imploding, not exploding. And that is even with the tricks. What Shilling misses is the concept of competition. Compaq used to make lots of money, now it doesn't, due to competition. Dell used to grow at 60% and now it doesn't, for the same reason. Intel used to be a growth stock. It no longer is.

This was basically an intellectual copping out to kiss MSFT's fanny.
