If the US has this hacking ability what other countries or just individuals can do the same and do you have any concerns about this.

Certainly we have this ability. Just as we have the ability to pick up on almost every electronic communication that traverses this planet.

And certainly I have my concerns about information warfare/cyberterrorism.

But how many waking sleepless nights do I spend worrying about it?

About as many as I spend worrying about the fact that we remain less than 15-30 minutes from an earth-frying nuclear exchange.

And even fewer than I spend worrying about the possibility that terrorists could release deadly biological attacks on all major financial/political cities. (Like here in DC)

And even if money were fully backed by gold, the problem of having accurate information as to which accounts actually own that gold would be vulnerable to electronic tampering.

The only solution would be to personally hold physical gold (in a place where not even your dearest friends now about), or even better hold stores of food and energy, for which people will give you their "precious" gold to obtain from you.

Thank god that most terrorists are not complete Anarchists, but rather individuals who target their attacks to get world attention without completely turning the entire world against them.

Regards,

Ron
