The biggest buzz at the Wireless I.T. Trade Show: The announcement that created the biggest buzz at the show came from smart phone manufacturer NeoPoint Inc., which showed off a new portal service called myAladdin.com. The service, marketed initially to carriers and financial institutions, connects WAP handsets to Internet content with a location emphasis, such as traffic information, flight status, Yellow Pages and entertainment. NeoPoint CEO William Son says myAladdin.com will help the adoption of his smart phones and also will open up new opportunities for services. One of myAladdin's content providers is MasterCard International with an ATM locator. wirelessweek.com
