of course you don't buy from ebay, you buy through ebay directly from the listing seller. the seller in this case has a fair number of positive auctions, but not as many as the big volume sellers. in general, i expect that sellers treasure their positive rankings and ones with high numbers of positives would be trustworthy. some of the auctions have services that guarantee delivery of the product, but this service costs additional.

notice on that auction that the seller has a reserve which means he/she isn't going to sell it unless some minimum price is met. it has not yet been met.

personally, i would be cautious about shipping off 25 grand without doing my homework a little.

the gold is not pictured for "obvious reasons." those reasons are lost on me.
