What, do they sell CEOs at KMart or something?

Why in the world do you expect them to put a hard date on finding the right person to be the top executive at OA, which is critical to their future?

CEOs do NOT grow on trees. The best we should ask is for them to try aggressively to find the right person. This we know they are doing.

A recent survey I saw said it can take an average of 6 months to hire CEOs.

<<Do you see any reason why the company does not set some firm deadlines for getting this done? For example, why can't they state "We are hiring a CEO by xx, and intend to complete the IPO by xx." >>

well, what happens if they set that xx date for hiring the ceo and they don't find one by that date? could you imagine how the stock would react? i think they're working as fast as possible...
