Interesting article. I doubt an Intel spokesperson would lie about production at this stage, therefore there must be some truth in the assertion that cumine shortage is due to high demand. If there is a total capacity shortage (AMD are still not exactly flooding the market) then ASPs should hold up and Intel should still do OK this Q despite not holding the high ground.

It is when Athlon is fully ramped next year that the game becomes really interesting.
