ahhaha,

Could be that they are beating the "We demand that our customers receive the best service" drum. AOL is posturing
about bringing the best service to the masses and T is demanding that @Home provide first rate service, etc.
What if Werner left the meeting and said "We are happy with everything."? It hurts noone to say that service must be improved.

ATHM did hiccup here and there with the OC48 upgrade but they accomplished this upgrade in record time. The switch from dual DS3 to OC48 is largely complete. It's built to scale. Go Milo.

Sounds more like disinformation as usual in trying for the competitive high ground. If it walks like AOL and talks like AOL it ain't no penguin--- Neal

Sounds as though they are distancing themselves in preparation for a special event.

This is a plausible assumption.

To get to 1 million subscribers by the end of next year will require a 50% sequential growth rate for 5 quarters. I had previously projected about a 35% rate, so AT&T will beat that handily.
