Paul, I couldn't have said it better myself. Wasn't it Lew Platt who had to answer for his debacle with Wintel??? Poor Lew had to go fishin'. Not to mention the fact that he & McNealy are neighbors. I guess that Gerstner had to fess up to losing nearly $1billion in the PC market last year. It looks like our margins on workstation sales are going to be protected for some time to come. It took someone with McNealy's backbone and raw intelligence to bring this off. What do you think, up to $125 before the split??? cheers, cherylw
