Alert: Painewebber Reiterates Intel
Buy Rating, Price Target $95
(NasdaqNM:INTC)<<

Norm. The only good news that I have seen in the last hour is a contradiction of recommendation of Intel by paine Webber. For once I ow those guys a drink. Merrill tries to Lynch Intel and Paine Webber comes to the rescue.

The fall today in Dell is disappointing while watching Gateway climb. The long time lag in Dell is also downright disgusting. I think many shareholders are tired of waiting for something to happen and may sell simply because the stock has no momentum and is not making anybody who recently acquired shares any money.

Norm,
There are many on this thread who have held onto Dell through several "out of favor" periods...it has not been easy. Dorine, Kemble, Patrick and others have provided much encouragement through these times to those of us who believe in Dell's management, vision, and ability to execute in the future as they always have. Dell has great plans going forward, and they will continue to be the great company they've been. I found this quote on the CNBC site which made me feel somewhat better :)
from CNBC article on Dell...
"CS First Boston's Michael Kwatinetz offers this advice to buy-siders: Buy now.

"Build your position now, because when it starts to go, it will go very quickly," says Kwatinetz, who has a "strong buy" rating on the stock."

Keep the faith,
Patsy
