Re SMRA and market in general:

I have absoutely no idea why people are scared in the recent IPO market. Amateurs. Why do you think the bond market rallied and the general stock market rallied big? Because it is obvious the Fed will do nothing next week. There is no reason to. And the Y2K slowdown gives the Fed even less impetus. So I will not be in cash the day of the Fed meeting. When the obvious result happens and the market rallies, I will be fully invested and benefiting. And I think the rally today will start filtering over on Monday.

Now, regarding SMRA and some of the naysayers. They are completely missing the point on this one. I could care less if this company sold horse manuer if it had 1998 revenues of $72 million, 1st half revs of $53 million, is growing at a 50% rate, is profitable, and has a market cap of $625MM which is only around 6X revenue. This one got lost in the crowd, plain and simple, and I for one am glad it did.

PS: Sold NXTV at the open for small profit. Just didn't like the market. Kept CMDX though. This is the first stock I have taken a hit on in quite some time, but I keep averaging down. The reason is simple. This is a 1st Tier B2B stock. People just think its a health-related stock because of its name. But it can easily move into other vertical platforms and probably will. It should trade like PPRO, CMRC and ARBA and will one day.
