Ike, I think there are some decent values out there. However, in the last couple of years I've been growing progressively concerned about the overall situation. I haven't felt comfortable with my equity exposure for quite some time now. That's why I've been hedging. I have a very difficult time picturing this ending pleasantly or in a soft landing. So what's the point? My profitable non-core positions aren't going to generate such superior long term returns that I am giving up a lot by selling them. I'll keep the ones in the red that I still like until the business turns. The hedging is driving me crazy and the greater the general excesses the more uncomfortable I become. It just isn't worth it.
