``I think the major issue here is that they raised the concern with people regarding asbestos liability and have not been able to produce any information or guidance as to how to quantify what that risk is,' said Kurt Hallead, an analyst with Merrill Lynch.

``In today's market if you can't help people quantify the risk, they're probably going to sell first and ask questions later. It's that simple,' Hallead said, commenting on the sharp drop in McDermott's share price.

I think whoever decided to use "material adverse impact" without explanation may be cleaning out their desk right now.
