John - Re: ". I mean INTC is sold out. Even Value America Catalog is selling the HP 733 PIII so Dell must be getting all they need as well. And if AMD is sold out which doesn't take much in light of their capacity and yield, why the concern about margins. In light of all this I don't get it. Is there a missile we are missing? "

Nope, No Missile.

The reality is that Joe Osha voiced his opinion and there were enough nervous nellies to rush to the exit door, unloading 44,000,000 shares on their way out.

There is no magic here - and no special insight on Osha's part - he was merely reacting to lots of "potential" bad news, and assuming that Intel's management was a bunch of ex-salesmen who couldn't figure their way out of the back seat of a chauffeured limousine.
