Looks like you might have some traffic problems on Turkey day Neo. I wonder what the court ruling and media reaction would be if the protesters were right wing religios fundamentalists working toward school vouchers?

(CNSNews.com) - "Thanksgiving is murder on turkeys," and animal rights activists want you to swallow that message as you prepare for your holiday feast. A federal judge in Norfolk, Virginia has ruled in favor of a PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) activist, who wants to dress up in a turkey suit and disrupt rush hour traffic on Richmond's Broad Street bridge next week. The PETA protestor plans to unfurl a 25-foot-long banner featuring the words quoted above. As reported by the Washington Times, US District Court Judge Jerome Friedman said until he decides otherwise, local loitering laws that bar protesters from Virginia bridges must bow to the public's First Amendment rights to assemble on public byways. Yikes, does the ruling apply to bridges in the Washington, DC area? A spokesman for Virginia Attorney General Mike Earley says, "It's not clear." The Washington Times reports that as of yesterday, the state Attorney General's Office was reviewing the judge's decision to "coordinate compliance."
