A lot of the stocks I track for general interest were up today, and a lot of them are tech stocks. It may already be too late for this idea, but there definitely seems to be a COMDEX effect on a lot of stocks, just like there is on IDX, that is strong and predictable. Next year we could set up an index on a basket of stocks and make a quick 20% in a week . . . until everyone else figures it out. Anyway, IDX did just what we were hoping for by the end of this week. I expect more on Monday, and what happens on Tuesday and the rest of the week depends a lot on what goes on at the MOT breakfast Tuesday morning. If IDX gets a good push it could go a long way, since I don't think the analyst community is particularly familiar with this company.
