Measured by comparative returns between qcom and gmst since
my reallocation of 9/39/99, my decision to buy G was a
poor one:

9/30/99 11/12/99 return
gmst 75 5/8 100 3/8 32.7%
qcom 181 5/16 378 108.5%

But measured by my increasing confidence in Gemstar's growth
over the next 24 months, it was a wise decision.
