bc-By my calculation(unaudited) Sector is now 31 out of 31 positive trades in MRVC this year. I don't trade, only buy and hold, but if I did trade I would be pleased with 65%. I tell myself that Sector is my "technical guru" but if anyone could get me to take a short-term approach for some of the money, HE'S THE MAN!

Best regards,

Mike

<<Rule #2 of successful MRVC investing:

NEVER sell when Sector does!<vbg>>>

ROFLMAO!

Actually, I never sell my "invested" shares (well almost never)

But hey! Those are trading shares, and what is rule #1 of successful TRADING?

And yes, Mike it is 31 of 31 with 3 others sitting in the black. Actually it is four others as I bought 15 April $22.5s (VQXDX) on Tuesday at $5 3/4 just before the stock made it's run (Yes I had some early info from AEA that I didn't publish). Those are looking pretty good too. <g>

Believe it or not, this is now the ONLY stock I trade. With others my record is at normal levels.

BC, along the lines of your rules, here's mine:

Rule 1: Read carefully all SI's posts on SI, check out all referenced links, and pay especially close attention when he waxes eloquent about product comparisons or the future potential of said products.

Rule 2: See Rule 1.

Just a short 9 months ago I had begun to formulate long-term price targets for this stock, largely as a result of following rule 1, that were so outlandish that I could not bring myself to share them with anyone. Just this week they have begun to creep a little closer, and a little voice whispers to me, "Maybe this could actually happen?"

Re: the NAC management team that is so impressive. Man, in this same -9 mos. time frame, I can remember well the mantra here: great engineering, great products, sales force can't seem to move 'em, management sucks, no Street recognition.

How times do change!
