No, not that good, but I am good at gathering pieces, fitting them together and gauging their impact.

Certain things I may hear, I don't pass on until I can verify from other sources. The NAC move to San Jose for example. I had heard about it some weeks earlier, but never was able to confirm.

Same with the AEA info. Of course it didn't stop me from acting on it, because it 'felt' right, given other pieces I know.

Regis, here is some more information on Tony Lavia that I turned up in a web search. Interesting that the different search engines all bring back different results.

I found this link from 1995 when searching on "Tony Lavia"

Look at all the people contacts here. Tony is listed as "Bell South"

wwwbib.informatik.tu-muenchen.de

and this link too, also from 1995, but he is at Nortel

tsacc.ic.gc.ca

and this French link from 1997 that has a picture of Tony when he was at Newbridge

newbridge.com

and another link with a picture - this from 1999 when he was President and CEO at Ironbridge Networks ( this guy gets around).

Note that he left the top spot at Ironbridge for the top spot at NAC - that is VERY encouraging!

ibnets.com

and an article interviewing Tony while CEO of Ironbridge

(sounds good, why did he leave? Is NAC THAT GOOD an opportunity?)
