Edit: I'm sorry. I replied before looking to your SI Post history/MO and realised you're not a SUNW shareholder at all, but merely a typical(coulda been a contender) Wintel spamster with an embaraasing return looking for some sort of innovative intellectual 'action' on the SUNW thread.

Go away. You just made it to being the 4th Spam2k Ignoree.

Scott is fabulous.... He stood up to Gates and his money. Most investors thought the courts would let him escape. The same coverage was given on cnn last night by Scott. All he is asking is open up windows like java then let the small guy in and run with it. Gates doesn't want to lose his controls. How many people has he crushed? BBBOOOOOOOOOOOOO
investing in msft is like investing in a cigarette company.

No, I don't think it is fair. Like the following:

Q: What about Microsoft's record as an innovator?
A: Microsoft has never innovated on anything. They've acquired or stolen their way to everything. They bought
DOS, they copied Windows from Apple, they bought WebTV and HotMail. And they bought their market position

That kind of talk isn't going to win McKealy any friends in Redmond.

The fact is Apple and MSFT borrowed the GUI idea from Xerox. And it's a good thing they did or we would all be trying to access the internet through copier machines. The fact is, Xerox didn't know what to do with their own idea, APPL and MSFT however, knew exactly what to do.
I guess McKealy didn't watch "Pirates of Silicon Valley", it was all explained in the movie.
