Since this topic is directed towards Daytrading or real short term sometimes,It might make less sense to follow market Of course you are right, my interpretation of your previous comment was influenced by my own investing time frame and not the subject at hand...forgot where I was : )

Richard - I guess one had better define *market, when I am trading and I factor in the market* in my trading decision I am looking at the ratio of buyers/sellers and I place increasing value of importance on said ratio per the following (least to greatest)- overall sampling of entire market NYSE/NASDAQ, stocks w/similar news/movement/price, leader and stocks in sector, individual stock...having said that this market analysis is just context not a driving force directing individual trades.
