agreed low volume drops are meaningless

I generally view extreme volume as a top indicator, perhaps only a shorterm top though... such a volume spike typically exhausts the pool of buyers... but they will come back since 378 looks "cheap" now that we almost kissed 400... seems like just last May we were 100

I attribute very little to dimwits like Kernon on CNBC... it was due for a late Friday minor bailout after being up 50 points... it was vulnerable as hell... of course tiny volume selling would bring it down... it was up 50 pts

people constantly look to point a finger at a given event for the "reason" for the drop... how about "it ran out of buyers fast"? or "it met sell orders waiting in the 390's"?

everyone simultaneously got the idea to sell the top shorterm, daytraders especially... on Monday everyone will get the idea simultaneously to buy at around 9:40am

by the way, thinking about the proposition most favorably, but with a couple others to suggest for inclusion... thank you very much

/ jim

Joe Kernan's remark was that Q looked frothy. I too noticed that the stock backed off after this little tickle. My biggest fear is one of those guys questioning the value of HDR or CDMA and its applications. Heading for COMDEX this morning where I am certain I will see some of those potential applications..
