not really...i started following abx in the fall of 98 and its the same price now...just cause its increased during a vague period you mention means nothing to newbies who are deciding what to buy...and i still say put abx lower on the list than : au, asa, fn, hgmcy and nem

the trick with abx imo is to buy it at a lower point in the cycle (oh, say 18 us or 27 cdn) and IMMEDIATELY sell calls against it...

abx may well go nowhere but stay where it is, but you'll derive a handsome income from those calls...

the lavish praise and the bashing are both getting ridiculous around here, its a stock, damn it...and you gotta admit the pog has done better than abx lately...
