Jim,

I see the following by next Spring:

Q Price: $550 or $137.5 post split

Based upon: Growth rate of 40%, '01 EPS est's of $5.20 and a PEG of approx 2.70 (closer to SUNW PEG)

HOT! HOT! HOT!! is the key here. Once Q management demonstrates predictable EPS growth w/o blow ups, WS will pay up for it. As we all know, WS loves certainty, hates uncertainty. Just check out CIEN a year ago.

Regards,

MileHigh

<<the smart people see this awesome potential and the toll-taking rights owned by theQ... they see QCOM as a "MUST OWN STOCK">>

JW,

I've been very successful explaining this concept to the younger crowd, but much less so with the oldies. I did have a breakthrough last week, though. After about 15 minutes of building the QCOM case, the guy looked up and me and said, "Oh, they get a cut of every phone". Maybe I should have started out with that???
