RE TRAC and all other manip/crim stocks: Don't fight the tape unless you are willing to stay short for a month of more. Our proprietary index of the kinds of stocks (taking out all internet names) shows that they are up 21% month to date, this is more than the Nasdaq 100 or the SOX indicies. Until something different comes into view, avoid them. The Fed may bring some relief on Tuesday, but otherwise, the Christmas rally is here early and it goes higher until it doesn't (don't fight the tape, fis hjust want to be fed) PS: TRAC looks like it may go to 24 before the blowoff is complete. OTOH, it will be a great spike short whe nthe time comes-right back down to 12.
