So many questions, so little time.

Did I touch the SunRay? No, I don't think I did (but I could have -- just no reason to). It's pretty slick, but takes a 100 MBPS Ethernet connection to be effective. I didn't have a stopwatch, but from the time the power cord was reinserted after pulling the plug to the time the screen was full with a recovered session was on the order of 3-5 seconds. Much quicker than booting a PC (if a PC would even survive such abuse). The access card feature is also so obviously right it's crazy we don't already all have it.

What video? There was a Toy Story 2 preview after the meeting, if that's what you mean. Looked good to me.

I enjoyed the meeting, my second one. It was pretty crowded, though.

StarOffice CD's flowed freely.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't read what I signed (blush). I assume it was the same "NDA-ish" thing as last year.

I don't know what to think about the recent price action. If Sun were to start selling massively in China, I think $120 would look cheap, and that possibility can't be ruled out. I also spent some time with the storage demo person, and she was brimming with confidence about the future; I actually think that may be where the next "big news" erupts.

On the plane back I was surrounded by techies discussing JVM's.

My Barry White impersonation isn't so good.

But as always, that's JMHO.
