Some thoughts with regard to Go2net... Henry Blodgett of Merrill Lynch says only about 25% of the net companies we see today will be around in 3 years...some will be bought out and most will fail... Merrill Lynch has GNET within their portfolio... decent sign that Merrill Lynch is a believer... Hypermart / Virtual Ave now have over 600,000 members...this compares to 275,000 on May 1, 1999. Pretty impressive #'s indeed...Ecommerce initiatives building momentum... The number of Gnet advertising clients went up about 28% quarter to quarter...much improved and showing signs of acceleration... All this while RCN, Charter and other Vulcan Holdings are paving the way for GNET to be their convergence point...All to be rolled out in 2000! Best to All!
