Do I have to smooch Jenna? I've never had a run-in with her, so I don't think we have anything to make up at this point.

And to you:

SMOOCH!!!!!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post bug reports and suggestions for the new website, but here it goes.

On the home page that comes up after I log in, the icon that should say "folders" says "inbox". If I click on the icon, my folders are displayed so this just appears to be an error in the text beneath the icon.

If you edit a message that has been posted in fixed font, the text reverts to regular font and an option isn't provided to select fixed font. Tables that are in the edited message get messed up.

I'm using Internet Explorer version 5.0. Sometimes when I press the backspace key in a message edit window, I am taken to the previous window instead of erasing a character. In other words, the backspace key appears to activate the back button on the browser. This appears to be a bug in IE 5.0, but I'm wondering if anybody has experienced this and if anything can be done about it.

I'm also curious if it is a violation of the TOS to use multiple aliases on SI. I suspect that somebody is using more than one alias but I don't have any way to prove it. Can SI tell if somebody is using more than one alias?

BTW, kudos to the developers for the great new features and layout of the new site.

Thanks, and best wishes to everyone for a nice weekend.

Dan

Read about 300 messages on this thread today. Wish I hadn't, but glad I did not read many of them during the week.

This link has some appropriate similarities...

go.hotwired.com

After you get there, press any key, or combination of keys. A lot of what happens could have made great responses to much of the chatter on this thread this week.

There are one or two that could become Cheeky's profile link.

Enjoy all.
