Steve, I'm now finding out that the rumor started last week about the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders escorting media and analysts across the street to the IDX/MOT press conference may NOT be true. It is much more likely that it is in fact the San Diego Chargers Cheerleaders.<g> Bah bump de da bump!........but seriously folks..... If Identix and Motorola can just articulate to a wider group....exactly what the future holds....."wireless web"....and so on....that's all IDX needs. We know all of this stuff....and it's true...... that is cool. It is Wall Street, John Q Public, and the Emerging Technology Funds......that need to know IDX. They don't right now. I think you will see the IDX chart begin to look like the VRSN chart very soon.......within months, anyhow. I don't think this show will change that. Is IDX ready and willing to use this as the launching pad? I think they could....and hope they do.........Jeeesh, lots of people are able to see 6 months down the road....IMO. Everybody should have 500 shares of IDX stuck away. I hope that's the message IDX sends this week.......with the help of Motorola and others. A wider shareholder base is always a good thing.....keeps those nasty shorters away! Happy thoughts. bg
