Oh, dear, laughing myself silly! Forget the literary connotations: I was hiding from Catullus and Boolean algebra in the Lavender Fairy Book and I admit it freely. It sounds as though your imagination was working overtime, which is a good thing, regardless of how scandalous the subject matter. What I have always wondered, speaking of socks, is why in the old porn flicks, the guys kept their SOCKS on. What was this thing with SOCKS? [Edit: I was just "squidded" twice!
