Anyone have any other suggestions?

Take your appetite.

Watch out for pickpockets.

Jim

(P.S. I will be in Las Vegas - any suggestions for me?)

Hi O,

I have some suggestions for your friends:

Don't shop on the Via Venito (Rome) because they will be screwed but that is where the US Embassy and Consulate is located so tell them to "shop until they drop" near there "if" you have not already made them too nervous.

Just outside of town is the Lambashata de Abruza restaurant which is a cheap cab ride but fantastic eats and reasonable. Nice people also but that was 20 yrs ago :-)

Oh, tell them to wash their feet before they stomp grapes. The Italians don't cotton to toe jam in their vino.

Lastly, tell them to enjoy the sites and quit making them Paranoid!!!!

PS.....Speaking of paranoid, Jim,watch out for my sister! She deals 21 in Vegas and I have only won from her once (even) from a three deck shoe. I think she cheats <ggg>

Ciao......Garrito

Tell them to be prepared to wait!

Lots of lines any time, but with the 2000 anniversary of Jesus Christ there is expected to be an extra 2 million pilgrims there.

If the electric goes out they should not panic right away. It has been known to happen before.

Enjoy the food and bring comfortable shoes.

Runner

PS I would try to talk any of my loved ones into staying home. All over the world our US Embassies have been sending their families home for a month now.

Maybe this recent article might get them to re-think their travel plans?

I know a few good Italian curse words which might come in handy, but I'd have to consult via long distance with my Aunt for correct spelling, tone and usage.
