The divisor is a little higher: Three Months Ended ----------------------------------------- October 29, July 30, November 1, 1999 1999 1998 ----------------------------------------- Weighted average shares outstanding(a): Basic 2,538 2,524 2,527 Diluted 2,724 2,725 2,762 So it computes to 21 cents by rounding up. Maybe a little higher due to non-operating income such as realized gains from some vc investments.
