Website Thanks, Alastair. Yes, I know. Peter Tourtellot, the developer of that website, is a fellow turnaround practitioner and a great guy to boot. He put the Altman Z-score up on his company's website a few months after I initially posted that question on this thread. Both of us were completely unaware of each others' parallel plans regarding this issue. Peter's firm, Anderson Bauman Tourtellot Vos & Co. is a well-known player in the corporate renewal industry. Peter is also active in the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and has been the guiding influence for the TMA's website for the last two years. Needless to say, he knows his stuff when it comes to website development, and his own website is a positive testament to that fact. I just took over Peter's responsibility as Committee Chairman for the TMA website a few weeks ago at the TMA's annual winter conference in San Francisco, so I am hoping to continue in the strong tradition which Peter developed. If you haven't heard of the Turnaround Management Association, I would highly recommend checking out the organization's website (http://www.turnaround.org). There is a lot of good information there. Anyway, back to the Z-score, about four months ago, I received permission from Dr. Altman to add the Z-score calculation to my company's website. Due to my recent workload, however, I haven't had time to follow through. I've billed over 1,900 hours year-to-date (2,500 if you include non-billable time), and that has left very little time for website development. Anyway, the primary issue that has kept me from implementing this particular feature (besides available time) isn't the web form itself; it's the CGI programming behind the form. I don't know CGI programming myself, and I haven't had the time to recruit and hire a programmer who does. Hopefully when I get some free time, I will be able to delve into this issue more deeply, because it is an important objective for me. It's just not quite as important as keeping my clients afloat. <vbg> Razor
