Standard & Poor's, 10/29: The shares fell sharply in mid-October, when a newsletter spawned rumors about accounting irregularities at TYCO....We believe things will soon settle down, and that the shares will resume their sharp upward trend of the past five years....[W]e believe the mid-October selloff provided a golden opportunity to buy the shares, which dropped to a below market PE multiple (based on forward EPS projections). ~~~~~~~~~ S&P, 11/6: shows 12 month PE of 25.6, and a fair value of 60.75.
