ok John. I read your edit also, and that brings to mind another hitch...this Dec. is different in one way from the previous 99 Decembers. Not that there will be anything to worry about. But nobody can yet count out what investor psychology will be as we draw nigh the end of the year. Sure, everyone's feeling fine and bullish right now, but OTOH, the mood can change. Particularly, if someone has already has respectable gains in say a mutual fund, it may be tempting to move that to cash until mid-Jan, as a risk-reduction strategy. Just food for thought.
