Thank you for an excellent post Karim. I've read your posts on the G & K board, re: WIND. Two sides of the same coin? Are you are sensing the embedded appliance chips as the next big wave on the tech front and positioning yourself accordingly? You mention managing a fund in your post. I'm not seeing anything about this on your profile. Can you provide any more details about your fund? FWIW, I recently re-established a large position in ELON. TIA. Donna

Welcome to the thread Karim! Yours is certainly an elegant compilation of the symbiotic personal relationships in this brain trust. What were once called interlocking directorates in the days of the robber barons. These relationships are how knowledge capital is leveraged in the Information Age. Down one level from here are the additional 240-odd members of the LonWorks Association, who further multiply the dissemination of this fascinating technology. Karim, There is definitely a behind the scenes CLUB creating and evoloving the changes at hand. Insight such as yours is key in understanding what to own. I have been watching the team surrounding Scott McNealy John Doerr, Eric Schmidt, and Larry Ellison. If you have more insight, please show us where to find it.
