Jesus is the only one, of all religions that has died and was resurrected in Glory. Every other one who claimed to be God is dead and buried and has never risen unless they were Christians.

I have news for you don't have to be a Christian to believe in Yeshua (Christ).

Christianity is not bad, just some who have made it seem that way. They will reap what they are sowing, I can promise you.

Yep and your one of them.

Matthew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, [Yeshua] for He will save His people from their sins. (NKJ)

God is not a God of chance. God is purposeful. God's redeemptive plan was put into place before the creation of the world. God named his son Yeshua because Yeshua means salvation. God promised his people through the prophets a savior. Look at Strong's word 3467 yasha` (yaw-shah'), a root word meaning salvation or savior.

Isaiah 49:26 . . . All flesh shall know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. (NKJ)

All flesh shall know that I, the LORD, am your Yeshua, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. Anytime you read the Old Testament and see the word salvation or savior, remember it's all in the name of Yeshua.

James been seeing your discussion with Mark. Your argument is based on knowing what God says in "the word". There is no way on earth to know "the word" is that of God. All your concepts are not true to everyone and worldwide definitely not in the majority.

To see others as inferior because they see differing concepts is the height of egotism. Why not believe as you will and leave others to their beliefs unless all parties are unsure and seeking.

IMHO proselyting for an unprovable word is a big error and the law of reciprocation could be hard to take instead of a blessing..

James,

<<why you are willing to accept the view that the God who created the universe is to be looked down upon and questioned. >>

I think this is one of the points in which our beliefs diverge. I do not think that questioning something is equivalent to looking down upon it. In fact, I would say that it is you and Brian who look down upon God(at least from my perspective) I am the one who thinks that God would only embody the highest ideals possible(love). You two are willing to accept much less(torture, hatred, anger, and other characteristics that are far from ideal).

Mark
