I thought this was interesting and could explain why the market reversed on Friday when Bear Stearns had to cover their mistake:

"The temporary dip in the Nasdaq also was blamed, in part, on a blunder on the Bear Stearns trading floor. A trader mistook an order from a customer to sell $2.5 million worth of Nasdaq-100 Trust Series, or QQQ, and S&P 500 Depositary Receipts, or Spyders, as an order to sell 2.5 million shares on each product, according to Dow Jones Newswires.

Bear Stearns declined to comment on the report."

Don,

<<a reasonable break of 1400 may not negate that senerio you highlighted.>>

Quite true, but it would lead me to believe we'll head higher before reversing... And how high I don't think I wanna find out. <g> That number wasn't just picked out of the sky, but based on S&P futures 24 hour wave formations that prohibit a move above 1405 for the conclusion of the rally from last week... Which just happens to be where we stalled today. I subtracted 5 from that number for fair value to yield the 1400SPX ceiling.

<<What the heck is a 36.2 day cycle. gggggggg Whats ".2", why not just 36.>>

That's one question I simply didn't get around to asking Favors when he gave me the cycle info. But if i ever see him again... <ggg> He was calling for a cycle high in this time frame too:

Now the only question still in MY mind is... Did we trigger a class 1 on anything today?

Thanks,

David
