I think you're onto something. How 'bout "Buy on the rumor. Buy more on the pre-announcement of the news. Buy more on the news. Buy even more on the re-broadcast of the news. Better yet, forget all that and just blindly buy more."

Back to a hint of seriousness, :) your perspective on the HDR announcement is a perfect example of my thinking that a lousy carpetologist such as myself is often lost in the world of news about technology. I have no way to know with any degree of certainty, but if I am to believe some of the folks who understand the technology on one of the Q threads, the HDR demonstration revealed that the working technology is two years ahead of what most investors previously believed to be the case. If that's true, that is real news and might explain the market's reaction to it.
