Tekboy,

Great response to your friend!

My only criticism is in reference to an inference I make, possibly one you didn't imply, about your "value investor friends." We Gorilla gamers are not traditional value investors, but our game is the essence of value investing. Your friend will hopefully soon appreciate that those who want to take the time to read the manual will understand that the market has always undervalued gorillas.

Merlin, a couple of thoughts on the gmst discussion:

One of the reasons I am excited about the AT&T announcement is that TCI has not offered epg/ipg in my part of the country. Soon I will be able to use the product of my 2nd largest investment.

I'm not sure of the date of the Motorola's acquisition of GI, but I would think this would be another factor in the timing of a settlement between GI and the Gem.

Everything I observe and read leads me to believe that we may be conservative with our estimate of touch down for the Gemstar Tornado.

jmho,
uf

Based on this Mike, just about "WHEN" do we have the GMST defining moment, like QCOM/ERICY ?

I still think is is too early for GMST, but what do you think ?

I think I understand technology pretty well <g>, but I have met no one that understands the "book" so well as yourself.

I mean that...

I still need help sometimes in understanding all the different stages of the book

Hope to hear from any and all of you about GMST ...

Just where is it in the tornado, chasm paradigm ?

Take care

Jean
