David, I have been paying a little attention since I have a position in GMST. I have not seen ANY psychic or shrink stuff. Just saw a Campbell's soup commercial, a Swanson's chicken pie commercial, just now, "Metabolize and Save"?? Just now, Oil of Olay... Now, Wheat Thins... Looks like to me that these would be paying advertisements. John

just came back from a friends house who just bought a new rca tv with epg. interesting note that gemstar's name was on the tv and the remote. this will start to create brand recognition, almost nobody knows gemstar now. with regard to advertising, they had one ad from nbc and another from publisher's weekly listing the top 10 bestsellers. they also had a box to go to for interactive but all it did was give full detail on each ad. this was the first time i have seen the new epg and was very impressed, i now have no doubts about this becoming a huge success!. one last interesting note, my friend bought the rca over a toshiba because the toshiba didn't have the epg, even though the toshiba had the better picture quality.
