Jill, re: graphs and such, my point was that covered calls and short puts have the same graphs, i'm not at all saying you need to become a MATH GEEK...if you get a chance to look at McMillan On Options (that is his user-friendly volume), it shows the graphs for these two strategies...very simplistic and intuitive way of showing they produce the same results (in fact, much easier to understand than it is to explain via text here)...stick with what works, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
