I think you have it wrong on Fran. Joe meddles (and in many cases dictates) the direction and play calling of the offense. That has always been the case. Joe never really gets involved with the defense. I expect Tom Bradley to be named Def coordinator and do just fine.

As for next year..I agree on the QB situation. I have never liked Casey's prospects. But we are stuck with him next year so hopefully he will improve. I think we'll see more stability at RB. Committee will be smaller. My concern is getting a big time OL again.

On the defensive front, we had loads of big timers the fans haven't seen yet. LB's will be Ron Graham, Shamar Finney (he's awesome) and probably Sturdifen. That's a good group. The DL, other than Kennedy, worries me a lot. Fleishuer is small and slow. Michigan dominatied our D line as well.

There will be no more NC runs until many things are fixed.
