The personalities behind threads like "Why do Gurus Self Combust*" other exciting thought provoking threads whose sole purpose is in fostering hostility and promoting discord instead of dispensing stock related information. You can find them most anywhere tossing bricks or engaging in other forms of vapid self-gratification. Just look for the official seal below near their alias.

Your thread wouldn't be complete without a visit from me then, would it...

I only have a couple of issues, I take full responsibility for "Why do Gurus Self Combust". I had no help and therefore the use of the plural "personalities" is misleading.

I'd like to point something out to you Jenna, though I am responsible for the "Why do Gurus Self Combust" thread and the Guru Deathmatch thread and the "Welcome to SI Off-Topic Thread" and several others. I always had the simple courtesy and respect to never disturb the Market Gems thread. The one time that I got into a heated discussion on the Welcome to SI thread, I immediately made the "Welcome to SI Off-Topic Thread". I did this out of respect to the readers of SI that may not appreciate a flame war on a thread that says "Welcome" on it. I didn't try to get the last word in on the popular thread, I simply responded with a link to the new thread without comment.

The fact is Jenna, that most people don't begrudge your success with Market Gems. Personally, I applaud it. The more people that can launch successful internet based ventures, the happier I am. But every time you mention the 106 hours a day that you spend researching stocks and the other ways in which you indicate that you are so far above us "miscreants", you open yourself up for reactions such as mine. Just as I open myself up for reactions such as yours when I jump in the fray.

When you make comments such as this
Since you guys seem to have a lot of time since you don't trade. #reply-11692229 you betray the disdain that you apparently have for individuals that haven't turned there stock trading into ventures where they can charge other people money for their advice.

Another thing that you might think about is that some of the people that you label as miscreants, are not 15 year old troublemakers, but people that have attained significant levels of success in their lines of business as well as in stock trading. Your dismissal of them and their methods of communicating a point is more of a reflection of who you are, than it is an indictment of us.
Regards,
JXM

I was about to respond when I read JXM's response. All I can say is that he is far kinder than I could be. As an investment professional, I find your caterwauling deeply distressful and a sad reflection on those of us who are real professionals, the people to whom you are, at best, a small mosquito.

I requested that you show your professionalism. Instead you continue to carry on like a child in a play pen. So be it. You have done worlds to undermine yourself and vaunt your immaturity as a person and as a supposed professional, far more than any silly spoof could have done.

From the opening message of this thread written by you:

We don't know who he is is but we are hoping for any leads or maybe some distinguishing speech mannerism can be recognized by some of you members.

What lies behind someones overwhelming feeling of venom that causes him to lash out to people with whom he has absolutely no contact, neither in the workplace or in the social realm. Maybe if we could learn more we can learn what needs to be done to recognize it and alleviate it.

So what do you say drives someone to such action and to thus expose themselves with the printed word. Is it a malcontentment so deep that it defies analysis by the lay person. Is it because cyberspace has let down our inhibitions since we don't have to face our victim in a real live enounter.

State your opinions here and also shed some light on who this poster might be.

Did you change the purpose of this thread after you invited people to post on this thread? If so, isn't that deceitful of you?

well i fail to see your proof. You have abandoned this thread, yet because of the large font and cyan color, people will continue to stop here and wonder what its all about.

I believe you changed your whoishe.html file. I recall it used to say something different.

So explain to me your proof. I don't see a connection here at all.

But just looking at the title of the thread, I think the unidentified poster is you.

M”glicherweise konnten Sie ge”ffnet meine Augen hinsichtlich, was Ihr Punkt ist? So ist was Ihr Punkt?
